Mailsort, Presstream & Walksort are bulk-mail discount schemes offered by the Royal Mail,
and designed to save you money on the postage costs when sending large mailings. The savings
are substantial and can easily be several thousand pounds per mailing.

Mailsort Online is a unique web based "pay-as-you-go" service used to sort a
mailing list in accordance with Royal Mail guidelines for Mailsort, Presstream and Walksort.
The processing is done directly via this website and there is nothing you need to
install on your computer to get it to work. This makes the system completely platform
independent and therefore works on Windows PC's as well as Apple Mac's, Linux etc.
It is completely free to get your mailing list processed. You can do this to see if your mailing list is eligible
for mailsort or walksort and also how much money you can save. All of this happens while you wait, and just takes a few minutes.
After processing is complete you are able to download the sorted data,
which is charged at the rates shown for each service.

Processing fees can be invoiced normally or paid with credit card via PayPal. Please note that
after 28 April 2008 an admin charge of £5.00 is added to all non-prepaid invoices.
The mailsorted data contains all the files and reports required to use the appropriate
mailsort service. This includes the data for producing address labels or mail-merge letters,
CFL bag labels and other files used by mailing houses for machine production.
The Mailsort 1400 and Presstream services
support both normal selection code sorting and geographical sorting.
Mailsort Online is very cost-effective and easy to use. It makes mailsort a viable option
to thousands of businesses and charities etc. who only send bulk letters occasionally and where
purchasing and maintaining their own dedicated system is both too expensive and too much hassle.
We deal with all the regular maintenance work including applying updates to the mailsort
and walksort databases as well as keeping posting prices up-to-date etc.
New Royal Mail Accreditations
As dictated by the Royal Mail, all mailsort processing software applications required re-testing for the new
2007 database by 23rd January 2008. We are pleased to announce that our processors are fully up-to date
by achieving the new
accreditation for our Mailsort and Presstream 1400 services, as well as Mixed weights, Mailsort 120, Mailsort 700 and Walksort.
At present there is no new accreditation test available for International Bulk Mail (IBM), but our software was tested
and accredited for IBM and IBM Mixed weights in February 2007.
